In quick succession, Wan loses her father and is abruptly unemployed, suddenly inheriting her father's grocery store, crumbling away during hard times. She soon gets to know hardworking and flirtatious store regular Maewnam. Maewnam is supportive of Wan's efforts to turn the business around, but she's hiding the truth about her family's business which threatens Wan's plans.
