The Story Behind GL Flix
GL Flix started as a personal passion project. After discovering the world of GL content in October, 2024, through Blank the series, I quickly became hooked. Like many fans, I wanted a space where I could easily watch and discover new GL shows to binge, all in one place. The inspiration came from ATEEZFLIX (atzflixoriginal.carrd.co) a site created for ATINYS, the K-pop group, Ateez fandom. My thoughts went from “I wish there was a site like this for GL“ to “wouldn’t it be crazy if I built it”.
At first, this site was just for me, a way to organize and gather my favorite shows. Little did I know, others would find it just as exciting and useful! What began as a small project has grown beyond anything I imagined, with users now visiting from all over the world. I deeply appreciate all the recommendations for shows to add , your input helps make GL Flix better every day.
Fun fact: This site was created at exactly 11:44:22 AM on 11/11. If that’s not fate, I don’t know what is. Seriously, what are the odds? It was practically written in the stars (or maybe just a lucky combination of caffeine, inspiration, and the universe aligning).
